Pivot Help Page
Hello and welcome to my Pivot Help Page. Here you will find aid
on working with Pivots, saving Pivot Files, creating movies on
Windows Movie Maker (like the one on the bottom of the page),
and things that have to do with a Pivot animation such as a
Sprite.
The Animation
Program-
Firstly, you might want to download Pivot Stickfigure Animator 3, here (or on the 'Download Files' page), and just do the normal steps in downloading a program. Don't worry, this is a safe download, I promise.
Stick Figures-
Next, create your very own stick figure ( or go to www.droiz.org to download one- huge selections ). To create your own, click 'file' -> 'create figure type'. When you are done, save it, and open it when you want to use it in an animation. You may edit the figure anytime.
Creating an animation-
-Frames
With each animation that you create, a number of frames are made to the respective movements of your stick figure. To create a frame, move your stick figure ( scroll down for help here ) and then click the 'Next Frame' button.
-Editing a Frame
When you are finished, or in the middle of your animation, and you forgot to add something to a frame, click on the frame you forgot to add something to and, well, fix it. [Note: After you fix a frame and you hit the 'Play' Button, it doesn't save your changes. You need to click on the same or different frame to save it.] You can not move frames. You can Insert ( Add ) a frame by right clicking it and selecting 'Insert' from the drop down menu. [Note: The Insert option duplicates the frame in front of the frame you right clicked on.]
-Movements
-Stick Figure
The stick figure's movements are fairly easy to manipulate. To move the entire body, click on the orange dot and drag your mouse to the region you want it to go. To flex a part of the body, click one of the red dots and move it. When you are finished, click the 'Next Frame' button.
-Sprites
With sprites, you can to almost anything you do with a stick figure (Edit, Move), but the only catch is that you can move and turn it 180 degrees and thats it.
